Education

Our educational offerings are taught by various experts from around Northeastern Ohio (if you would like to teach one of these subjects or know of a teacher please let us know). These interdisciplinary classes draw from traditional knowledge, ecology, and current permaculture practices. They cover topics like food production and preservation, agroforestry, foraging for food and medicine, animal husbandry, natural home design and building and much more, and will be included as part of your subscription basket. Members may attend workshops live or view online recordings of many of these events. Workshop descriptions/dates/locations

Design and Installation

We use permaculture principles to create beautiful landscapes that feed the human and non-human members of your surroundings from the soil on up. If you want to add a couple of raised bed vegetable gardens, create a native plant pollinator garden, install a full on food forest, set up a chicken coop, or design your farmstead, we’ve got you covered! Among our collaborators we can draw on decades of hands on experience and expertise in all aspects of permaculture design and practice. Members will receive a discount on design and installation services.

Subscription Baskets

Reconnect with the spirit of the seasons with monthly collections of items that nourish and sustain your family and the local community. Subscribers receive monthly baskets of curated goodies that reflect the abundance and mood of the seasons throughout the year. Each collection embodies our values and vision for a community based economy that supports the permaculture ethics of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. These values are reflected by…

…our use of locally sourced ingredients, materials and items: Locally grown or foraged herbs, fruit, nuts, grains, and fiber; arts and crafts from local artisans.

…our efforts to minimize waste: Upcycled and repurposed materials; minimal/compostable/ reusable packaging.

…the love and care that goes into hand-crafting each item!

Apprenticeships

We are committed to spreading Earth Restoration knowledge and practice throughout Northeast Ohio. Apprentices will work with a variety of our collaborators in diverse settings to learn the skills to develop their own projects and further the good work of healing the planet. Apprentices can attend and/or access all workshops for free and will be able to participate in installations once they have demonstrated an appropriate level of skill.  Contact us to learn more.
